I’m pleased to say that we finally have a mobile version of the FuD website, you know longer have to browse a smaller version of the site on your phones, we have a user-friendly site now. You may think a mobile site is kind of useless as flash games and movies won’t work on them, but you can view youtube videos, and so you can view the flash movies we’ve hosted on Youtube, which so far just includes the History of FuD series.

We have no plans to make other movies mobile friendly just yet, but I’m sure we will in the future. So enjoy FuD on the go with the new mobile site

Three years ago today I created the FuD Forum, which even though it was several months after the start of FuD (known then as Jackash) , it was the real birth of FuD. So today we are celebrating out third birthdays, which for an Internet forum is pretty impressive I feel.

So as today is a special day, i’ve been working my ass the past 48 hours to give you all a little present, not much, it’s another update to the website, with some new stuff that’s been necessary for a while. Let me run down the list for you:

1. New blog
2. Demos/Trailers (Misc. section)
3. New Navbar images
4. New RSS feed
5. iPhone Homepage app icon

Now, i’ll explain them a bit more in detail.

The new blog is actually, believe me or not, what you’re reading right now, shocking right, but wait, there’s more. Because blogs are just so much easier to manage and keep up to date, that’s why I’m doing this, the front page of the site will now be links to the 3 most current blog posts with shiny little pictures next to them, I feel this is going to work out better for everyone.

In the Misc. section of the site, i’ve finally filled it in with a demo/teaser trailer section, if you check that out now you’ll see there’s something there but you can’t play it, that’s because we have a demo available for a game we’re working on but we’re not ready to release the demo just yet. Also I have some other ideas for content to go into the misc section which may or may not show up there soon.

New navigation bar images, this just makes the navbar look nicer rather than links w/ bullet points, also the links light up green when you hover them, how cute is that.

New RSS feed, smaller update really, just replaced the old RSS with the one we got with this blog, so it’ll update in time with the blog and be generally better, so go download an RSS reader and subscribe!

And lastly, the iPhone app icon, for any of you with an iPhone or and iPod touch, you’ll know that you can save bookmarks of websites onto your homepage in the form of an app. But if you do this it makes an app based on a print screen of that website, which looks like garbage. I’ve made an update to the site which means if you save the bookmark of the FuD site to your iProduct then it will now have an awesome app icon, so it looks like you have a sweet FuD app for your iPhone but really I’m too cheap to buy the dev kit and it’s just a bookmark, neat huh.

I figured this will make it easier to inform all of you of the FuD news, blogs are just so much easier, so this is the official developers blog of FuD. You know what a blog is right I don’t have to explain it to you, just add this page to your bookmarks and be prepared to experience the magic.

So what is this like the third or fourth site I’ve made for FuD, well, I’ve gone and made another one anyway. But I really think I outdid myself, I like it and hope you do to.
The reason behind the new site is because I felt FuD needed a bit of a new image, so this website launching is also in conjunction with the recent Facebook/Twitter accounts and the new skin for the forum that just rolled out.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the site, and please report any bugs you find to me as I really want this site to run well.
